I thought I was over my fear of commitment... Mikey and I have been married for over a year and been together for more than 2! But I found out last night I'm still a commitment phob.
Baby Bedding.
Once you choose a bedding set, its like the rest of the nursery has to be planned around that. And that makes it hard because if you do a crazy print, you have to tone down the walls and have the bedding as your statement. Or you can have a simple-er crib set and have some really cool walls. Its either one or the other... I guess you can do both and get away with it if you are a professional... but... Lets be honest. I am no where near a professional interior decorator...(Like Sam!) (She just had a really cute baby boy!)
So shallow as all this may seem. Planning a nursery is way harder than I ever thought it could be. Good thing there are such things as return policies...

Which one do you guys like? Remember, I have a plain, blue crib...
(Yes, I know I fall right into what the Seriously So Blessed Lady makes fun of...)
i vote #1
ReplyDeleteI would say number 1, or 3 would be cute with the blue crib. And with 3, you can do some more to the wall, and I think it would look nice with the crib. REMEMBER you can always paint the crib if you want.
ReplyDeleteI still love #1 the best, but 3 is growing me
ReplyDeleteI love #2, but with your crib I would go with #1. That would be a way cute nursery!
ReplyDeleteI like #3! This would make it easy for you to change things if you don't like a certain color. This bedding has so many colors that you can mix and match anything you may find that you may want to put in the nursery. If you stick with only a couple colors you may feel tied down to stick with it. It would also go better with your blue crib.
ReplyDeleteI love one and two. but a blue crib could not go with two, so if you go that route, i will volunteer to help you paint it.
ReplyDeleteGo with #1, very cute! Molly I love your style, whatever you choose will be the best choice :) How exciting to start decorating the baby's room!! Can't wait for future pictures.
ReplyDeleteI totally love number 4. Can I make a suggestion?:) No matter which one you pick my suggestion is don't buy every peice of the collection. Buy a couple main peices. That way you will have more decorative freedom. This time-ish last year I was on the hunt for bedding then I opted for none. I was way too indecisive but I really like the how my nursery turned out.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my favorite nurserys of all time..
Just scroll down past my nursry (which looks a lot better now blah... anyways...

i vote 1- too many people are boring with their baby rooms. i say be bold!
ReplyDeleteOver-rated! Just wait til you know your baby's personality. :)
ReplyDeleteWe were going to do pink and brown for Adelyn and spend lots of money on this CUTE bedding set. I'm glad we didn't. Adelyn's fun and crazy, so we got cute stuff from IKEA (red, green, yellow, FUN) to decorate her room. It's really cute, just not the dainty, girly cute I was originally going to get.
