Michael and I have never really been one's for complete romance. We prefer just being goofy around each other. Yeah, we just show our love thru stupid immature stuff.... 13 year olds at heart.
So instead of the typical mushy mush Valentine's Day gift, I got Mikey-Man a Fish.
Don't get me wrong I like him. I just can't look at him while I'm eating....
Its an Oscar. (When I went to the store I asked what the lowest maintainance fish they had. The Betas all looked like they were on death-row) He showed me this guy and told me that he is aggressive, so don't put him with other fish and to feed him flakes and make sure to change out his water every 2 weeks.
Well when I got to work the next day I was telling my co-worker that I got Michael an Oscar. That's when I found out that my co-worker is a sadist. ;) He started telling me how he had one and he would feed it gold fish and other live insects... erg....
Once I told Michael about that, he went from liking his new pet to LOVING it.
Nothing says romance like a fish scarfing down another fish...
