Michael and I hit our 1 Year mark last Sunday! (I know, I'm a bit late in posting this)
We didn't get a chance to celebrate til this weekend.
We went to Mt. Charleston for dinner.
It was really fun to get out of Vegas for a couple of hours. It was cold up there. 51 degrees!
We got dressed up (ie. Nice Jeans and T-shirt for Mikey, and I actually put make-up on.)
Saw 2 deer, both with huge antlers...
It was a good night.
Now for the mushy stuff... If you want to stop reading here I don't blame you....
I can't believe its been a year. It went by fast. Looking back it has been a lot of fun. Back when we were dating, I asked him,"Are you always gonna be this nice?" which he replyed, "No." (hahaha I was a little alarmed at the time) Now I know he was just being his silly self. I don't think Mikey understands how much I love and appreciate him. I tell him that I don't think he ever will, either. He is so childlike, always kidding around, or has something witty to say. I love that about him. What amazes me is how much I miss him when he isn't around. What amazes me more is how much our relationship has grown and changed since we met. I love him more than I did when we were sealed for eternity....
If the first year is the hardest, bring it on!

You guys really do have such a great marriage, just wait till you add your little bean... you're life will be so much more fullfilled and you're relationship will be so much stronger! I can't wait for you two to experience it parenthood together. It's the BEST!! We love you M&M!!

ReplyDeleteI don't know why they say the first year is the hardest, I thought it was great! You two are so cute. It's been fun to watch you guys go from just barely dating to being engaged to getting married to starting parenthood! Congrats!

ReplyDeleteOur first year was hard because of other things, but I think it does get harder as you go. But I have had a lot of experiences most people probably don't have to go through. Good luck! (Having a baby will change your relationship. When you look back you will see it. Not bad, just different.)
