The Holidays this year was packed with family events. It worked out perfectly because Michael's family celebrates on Christmas Eve. It was nice to eat, celebrate, and open presents with his family. It was our nephew, Briggs, first Christmas. He was so fun to watch play with all the new toys and wrapping paper.
That night, after we went home, Michael and I opened the presents we got for each other. Instead of constantly taking pictures, we filmed it. Michael was so cute when he opened his present, and I'm very spoiled, and so thankful for my MikeyMan. I feel like I won the Husband Lottery...

Christmas Morning was really hard to get up, but somehow we did, and headed over to my parents house for opening presents and breakfast. I love laughing with my family. All we do is tease each other... I don't know how all the Marry-ins can stand it... My Dad got a new jigsaw puzzle, that we do every year, and it was fun racing each other trying to put it together...
For lunch it was back over to Michael's parents house. I can't put into words how good of a cook Cristina (Michael's Mom) is.... and for dinner, it was back to my parents house for MORE FOOD..... We really really have it good...
New Year's Eve (aka Molly Eve) was a BLAST! Michael didn't have to work, so we (Shayla, Michael, and me) hung out watched movies, played games, and got sick on root beer...
For New Years (my birthday), I got exactly what I wanted! I got to spend the entire day with Michael. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond, to finally use our gift cards from our wedding, and then to Lowes, (possiblly our new favorite store) to check out all the things we want, but don't really need... From there we went to Olive Garden for Dinner, and then cake and ice cream at my parents house. I love my family. This holiday really reminded me of what I have, and who I have, and all of it is awesome!
