How we met! Molly's Point of view

Michael and I went to High School together. I knew who he was, but he didnt have a clue I existed. He was the Vollyball Captain, and I always thought he was soo cute, but I never did anything about it because, pretty much every girl thought the same thing. We met at a High School Graduation party, we played mini-golf together and had a blast. I still thought he was cute, but I didn't do a thing about it. (neither did he...) Years went by, I moved to Utah, did my time, then finally came back home to Vegas, and I just wanted to have fun. We were at a church activity and our circle of friends were just sitting and talking. Well I still totally thought he was cute, and sat down by him. He said he tried talking to me and I was only giving him one word answers.(Probably because I was too busy thinking he was cute to really answer.) After the activity a big group of us (including Michael) went back to my house to go swimming. It was a fun party, everyone stayed til 2am. A week or so goes by and I see him at a couple more church events and I start to develop a bigger crush than I already had. Well, my friend Emily and I wanted the same group from the swimming party to go see a movie, so I told her to call up Michael, and she refused. So she gave me his number and I texted him "hey Dirtbag" (that was what we called him back then) (I think it was just to make him mad.) and he says that he knew it was me. (even though he didnt have my number.) So instead of texting back he calls me up. I'm sitting there holding my phone looking at it, trying to decide to answer it or not. I answered, and he asked me out for the next night. I was stunned, shocked, and very happy. He came and picked me up at my house and I will never forget how cute he looked that night. We had a lot of fun. We went and saw Get Smart, then we went to Taco Bell. (where he introduced me to crunch-wraps) I think this is when I realized (yes there in Taco Bell) that Michael was actually very different that any other guy I have ever dated. We actually had a conversation, and not just stupid small talk. He was FUN to talk to. After that we went back to Red Rock Casino to play Bingo, where it was really hard to conscentrate on the numbers being called out, after he put him arm around me. :) After Bingo it was about 11pm and neither of us wanted to call it a night yet. So we sat in his truck outside my house til 4am talking. Probably one of the most fun dates I had ever been on til that point. We hung out everyday that weekend, he even took me to church. (so cute) THEN someone asked him if we were dating, and I pretended not to listen, but really my ears were on FIRE. Michael told them that we were. (Me being the commitment phob, had a mini panic attack right there.) (Luckly I held it together and Michael didnt notice... I think) After all that, we dated for 2 weeks shy of a year and Michael suprised me, and proposed. We got married Sept. 5 2009!
